BIM Modeller MEP Job Position

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeller MEP to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge in developing detailed models from drawings, sketches and calculations for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services for a diverse range of construction projects.

The successful candidate will be required to setup, manage and coordinate models, drawings with other disciplines and work closely with the design team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop Detailed Models: Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services from schematic design through construction phases for architecture, interior and landscape design schemes.
  • Collaborate with Design Team: Collaborate closely with architects, design engineers, interior designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements.
  • BIM Authoring Tools: Proficiency in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support to the project team
  • Linked Models: Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines
  • BIM Execution Plan: Follow established BIM execution plans and adhere to project specific documentation. Ensure models follow established standards and goals in the BIM execution plan
  • BIM System Families: Create discipline specific BIM system families for projects
  • Accurate Documentation: Generate accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules and quantity take-offs.
  • Coordinated Models: Ensure in development of coordinated and clash-free models in coordination with the design team.
  • Model Compliance: Ensure all models comply with project design intent, relevant building codes, standards and project specifications.
  • Project Files: Maintain and organize Revit project files, libraries, and standards.
  • Shop Drawings: Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in MEP Engineering Design
  • Fresher to 8 years of experience as a Revit Modeller with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in modelling MEP services in architectural and interior fit-out projects.
  • Ability to take lead in resolving issues and challenges.
  • Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and building materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP drawings.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and details.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team.
