Product Management Intern Role Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity for the selected candidate to gain hands-on experience in product management and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership: Collaborate with senior team members to drive project ownership and participate in minor feature development.
  • Product Sense: Develop user empathy by asking insightful questions, understanding customer needs, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Understand and contribute to the vision/strategy of the product and engage in the product process.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze and interpret data to inform product decisions and learn relevant tools for data analysis.

  • Set goals for features that align with the product vision and strategy.
  • Apply user segmentation principles in work and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on complex analysis being done in the POD and demonstrate initiative.

Ways of Working:

  • Adhere to best practices for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize relevant tools and processes to ensure timely delivery of features.

Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of features from inception to release.
  • Participate in internal and external product/feature marketing efforts.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Effectively communicate risks and blockers to the team and stakeholders.
  • Work effectively within a small team in the POD.

The ideal candidate will have 0-1 year of overall work experience or equivalent, with a fresh college graduate background in engineering, humanities, or design, or a professional transitioning to product management from other fields.
