Capital Markets Data Conversion Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong understanding of capital markets, data conversion, and migration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income, Futures & Options, ABS, and MBS.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of fund accounting and portfolio valuation concepts.
  • Familiarity with market reference data and corporate actions is essential.
  • Perform thorough data reconciliation and analyze reconciliation breaks to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct detailed source system data analysis to manage source-to-target data mapping for large datasets.

Data Conversion & Testing:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to define and document data conversion requirements.
  • Execute conversion and testing of static and transactional data between core systems.
  • Perform data cleaning, scrubbing, and consistency checks to maintain data integrity.
  • Understanding of ETL tools is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Manage the Conversion Run Book and task assignments effectively.
  • Advanced Excel Skills are necessary for this role.
