Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. They will ensure that all inventory is accurately recorded and updated, and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized state.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading of Import Products: The supervisor will oversee the loading and unloading of import products, ensuring that they are handled with care and that the correct documentation is completed.
- Picking and Packing of Products: They will also be responsible for supervising the picking and packing of products, ensuring that they are packaged correctly and delivered on time.
- Maintaining and Updating Inventory Records: The supervisor will maintain accurate records of all inventory, updating them as necessary to ensure that the company has an accurate picture of its stock levels.
- Assisting in Monthly Stock Check and Inventory: They will assist in conducting regular stock checks to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and that any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Other Duties: The supervisor may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the manager, including assisting with training and evaluating warehouse staff.
Requirements:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a B.S. or B.A. degree in business management, industrial management, or a related field being highly desirable.
- Certifications: Possession of a forklift certification and Hazmat certification is required.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a supervisory role, is preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of Navision and MS Excel is highly desirable.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential, with knowledge of Hindi being considered an asset.
