Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a senior network engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructure for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement WAN, LAN, WLAN networks on a multi-vendor platform consisting of Juniper, Aruba, Mist, Cradlepoint, and Cisco.
  • Create and maintain documentation for network implementation, including change approval processes.
  • Support and coach other engineers in the team to provide technical assistance.
  • Lead and assist in defining strategies for delivering complex projects.
  • Manage deliverables for complex customer design and implementation projects.
  • Perform advanced analysis on incidents and act as escalation engineer for internal organizations and clients.
  • Provide fourth-level support for Operations as part of the 'Incident and Problem Management Process'.
  • Develop processes for other engineers to follow for successful delivery of solutions.
  • Lead and own projects and small teams of engineers, driving projects to successful conclusions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial.
  • Experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN also highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN and LAN beneficial.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Desirable Skills:

  • 8 or more years' technical experience in design and implementation of large-scale customer networks.
  • Experience within telecommunication organizations or international companies beneficial.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments and international companies with various time zones.
  • Ability to give guidance and coaching to other engineers at a technical level.
