Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This key role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing mission-critical financial systems within an investment banking environment.

This position requires a highly skilled engineer who can ensure system resilience, reliability, and operational excellence across cloud-hosted environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, strong automation and scripting skills, and proficiency in monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Design & Implementation: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automated scripts for deployment, scaling, and backup procedures.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage monitoring and logging frameworks to detect issues proactively.
  • Incident Management: Participate in incident response and problem management processes to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices in cloud engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: 5–10 years of experience in cloud engineering within financial services or capital markets.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
  • Automation & Scripting Skills: Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, Shell, or Ansible.
  • Monitoring Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in monitoring/observability tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills across business and technical teams.
