ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION SPECIALIST

About the Role:

This position plays a pivotal role in shaping maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. Asset reliability is fostered by developing and assigning appropriate equipment strategies.

Purpose & Accountabilities:
  • Engage in engineering activities spanning key areas of instrumentation technology, including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.
  • Analyze and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g., Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers).
  • Foster collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Comprehend preventive, predictive, and condition monitoring tasks related to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Professionals with expertise in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.

Mandatory Skills: Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance and inspection, Field instrumentation, preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

Added advantage: SAP PM Module, Asset Performance Management

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in Instrumentation and Electrical maintenance and inspection.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical or related field.
