This role involves managing all ongoing and new projects from process development stage till manufacturing.

The key responsibilities include:

• On-time delivery of the project within stipulated scope and cost.
• Sourcing pharmaceutical intermediates, KSM, raw materials, and related services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Integrating all project activities and processes, from initial assessment and planning to final delivery & close-out.

This role essentially optimizes the supply chain, follows project management practices, and maintains strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The responsibilities also include:

• Identifying, evaluating, and establishing relationships with reliable suppliers for pharmaceutical Intermediates, KSM, raw materials, finished goods, and services.
• Conducting supplier audits, negotiations, and performance assessments to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and cost standards.
• Maintaining supplier databases and managing ongoing supplier communications to ensure supply continuity and risk mitigation.

Gathering market intelligence on emerging pharmaceutical trends, pricing, and new suppliers is also a part of the job.

Preparing regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, supplier performance, and market conditions is also required.

This role requires leading price negotiations to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining high quality and service levels.

Additionally, driving cost reduction initiatives while meeting production timelines and quality standards is essential.

Preparation and management of budgets and sales forecasts for MIS are also required.

This role involves monitoring and addressing supply chain risks, such as potential shortages, regulatory issues, and geopolitical factors.

Overseeing the documentation and reporting of sourcing activities, ensuring full compliance with internal and external audit requirements is also crucial.

This role requires inventory and supply chain management skills.

Candidate should have experience in Pharmaceutical Scouring (API/KSM) and Project Management in Contract Research and Contract Manufacturing (CDMO) in API/Intermediates/ Pharma/Agro.

Tech savvy candidate would be preferred.
