Agile Development Manager Job Description

This role involves leading and managing agile software development projects from initiation to completion. The position requires a strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

The Agile Development Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure the successful delivery of software products that meet or exceed client expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage agile development projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize their productivity and efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
