Role Overview

This role is focused on overseeing and coordinating project management activities across various research and development projects.

Key responsibilities include monitoring timelines for new product development, coordinating audit processes, and supporting intellectual property rights initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of project management methodologies, and experience with project planning software and PLM operating systems.

Job Responsibilities

Project Control & Management:

  • Manage NPD process adherence through regular audits and escalate non-conformances to relevant authorities.
  • Monitor VAVE/Cost Saving projects according to approved plans and provide periodic MIS reports to management.
  • Collect and implement suggestions from CFTs/SMEs to enhance NPD process efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits for NPD process adherence.

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

  • Work as an Intellectual Property Coordinator responsible for evaluating patentability of various designs and concepts.
  • Assist in idea disclosure, initial patent search, tracking patent/design status, and other IP support.

ISO 9001:2015 Integrated Management System

  • Responsible for handling ISO audits related to design and development and working as an Internal Auditor to audit Product Development processes.
  • Ensure process alignment with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and support ISO audits.

Project Automation

  • Benchmarking and implementing new R&D processes in PLM software system.
  • Collecting and analyzing data from automated manhour booking system 'Star Clock' in R&D.

Capability Building

  • Conducting periodic orientations/trainings on NPD Process for R&D team members.
  • Providing regular training on NPD Process and PLM software system to stakeholders.
