Procurement Leadership Role

The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods and services to meet organizational standards for cost, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and process efficiencies.
    • Source and evaluate suppliers worldwide to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable supply.
    • Negotiate complex contracts with international and domestic vendors.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee the creation, approval, and tracking of purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts.
    • Ensure alignment of purchasing activities with organizational goals, inventory requirements, and business objectives.
    • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Operations teams to forecast future supply needs.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and trade regulations (import/export laws, customs, tariffs).
    • Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
    • Prepare and present strategic purchasing reports to executive management.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent leadership skills, be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in supplier negotiations and contract management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is also required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience with international sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
