Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Description:

  • Prepare and present financial reports for the Corporate Accounts function as per requirements specified by stakeholders and Senior Management for enabling better decision-making and statutory compliances.
  • Ensure standardisation of closing calendar and drive evaluation of EM-EU financials for BSR review to ensure accurate trial balance.
  • Facilitate Controller forum to review and improve the hygiene of the financial statements of EMEU Subsidiaries.
  • Prepare audit committee deliverables.
  • Liaise and resolve audit queries to achieve full compliance and nil re-raised queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of Annual report and engage in proofreading to achieve error-free reporting.
  • Contribute in new system implementation and drive automation of various reports and activities to bring in system & MIS improvements.
  • Mentor accountants to resolve accounting queries and guide to achieve standard practices and processes.
  • Review EM-EU Subsidiaries Financials and Analysis on Monthly basis to ensure correctness of financials.
  • Support consolidation procedures to ensure statutory compliance, financial reporting & publishing.
  • Coordinate with subsidiaries for finalisation of accounts on time for proper consolidation.
  • Finalise audit for all subsidiaries within time without qualification.
  • Ensure all signed financials are received and tallied with trial balance submitted for consolidation at year end.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of accounting experience and strong background of controllership role.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Consolidation (IND AS)
  • Communication skills
  • SAP & BPC tool knowledge
  • Hands-on experience
  • Certified Accountant (CA)
