Peptide Synthesis Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peptide Synthesis Scientist to lead our peptide synthesis operations in India.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and optimize peptide synthesis strategies using solid-phase and solution-phase techniques.
  • Craft C- and N-terminal modifications, peptide conjugations, and impurity profiling to enhance peptide quality.
  • Purify peptides and impurities using advanced methods such as HPLC, GC, and other chromatographic techniques.
  • Analyze and characterize peptides using various spectroscopic techniques like mass spectrometry, NMR, and IR spectroscopy.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. / MSc./M.Pharm. (Chemistry) with strong expertise in peptide synthesis and purification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in peptide synthesis, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of hybrid technologies and molecular engineering principles is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in process development and scale-up of peptide pharmaceuticals.
  • Skilled in developing and optimizing efficient production processes.
