Role:  Senior Chemist (Analytics / R&D)

Education:  Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, with Chemistry as a compulsory/core subject.

Experience: 2+ years

Location:  Delhi/NCR, India

Responsibilities:

• Plan the execution of assigned tasks by completing R&D correctly the first time.
• Perform battery material recycling R&D according to current company strategy, product specifications, and laboratory processes. 
• Support team leader to process development in laboratory, pilot facility, and 3rd party's lab to identify the most efficient process technology. Work closely with operations and process engineering teams to monitor process consistency and adjust parameters where needed. 
• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and lab protocols (OSHA, EPA, local guidelines). 
• Immediately escalate issues/observations/non-conformance to supervisor as per applicable procedures/policies. 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of R&D experience in a chemical lab, preferably in hydrometallurgy, battery recycling, mining, or carbon materials industries. 
• Technical expertise related to inorganic chemistry. Strong research and documentation skills. 
• Ability to grasp processes and lab practices to execute R&D tasks independently. Encourage and stimulate new ideas and process improvements.
