Senior E-Commerce QA Lead

The Senior E-Commerce QA Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the quality assurance landscape of large-scale e-commerce projects. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this individual is responsible for overseeing and guiding QA teams towards optimizing their processes and tools.

This role demands expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications. Proficiency in performance testing using JMeter, cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack, and API testing workflows using Postman are also essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage QA teams for large-scale e-commerce projects, providing guidance on process improvements and tool optimization.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Oversee performance testing using JMeter to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Develop and execute API testing workflows using Postman to guarantee data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on e-commerce platforms.
  • Expertise in automated testing frameworks, performance testing, and API testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
