We are seeking an experienced automation expert to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Framework Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality across web, API, and integration layers.
    • Write feature files with clear, business-oriented scenarios and maintain reusable step definitions.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
  • Mentorship and Process Improvement:
    • Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to overall process improvements.
Required Skills & Expertise:Core QA Automation Skills:
  • Selenium WebDriver (Advanced):
    • Deep knowledge of WebDriver APIs, custom waits, element handling, and synchronization issues.
  • BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin):
    • Writing business-readable feature files and mapping steps correctly to ensure reusability and modularity.
  • Java (or framework language):
    • Strong OOP concepts, clean code practices with SOLID principles, and exception handling.
Framework & Layer-Specific Skills:
  • Step Definitions:
    • Designing high-level steps without mixing UI locator logic, ensuring modularity and reusability.
  • Page Object Model (POM):
    • Strong understanding of POM & Page Factory, writing maintainable locators and encapsulating UI interactions.
  • Core Framework (Wrappers, Waiters, Driver handling):
    • Building wrapper methods around Selenium APIs, implementing custom waits, retry mechanisms, and driver utilities.
Additional Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing, experience in API testing using Postman/RestAssured, and strong understanding of test planning and defect management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
