Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimation Specialist to join our team. As an Estimation Specialist, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for instrumentation and fluid flow control projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze project specifications, assess material and labour costs, and collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project specifications, P IDs, datasheets, and instrumentation drawings to ensure accurate cost estimates.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for instrumentation and fluid flow control solutions, identifying all instruments, materials, labour, and equipment needed for the project.
  • Assess the technical requirements of instrumentation systems to ensure compatibility with proposed solutions.
  • Liaise with suppliers OEMs for pricing, technical clarifications, and lead times on instrumentation components.
  • Develop comprehensive technical and commercial bids, collaborating with sales and engineering teams to ensure estimates align with client requirements and project timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Mechanical).
  • 3 years of experience in estimation within the instrumentation or fluid industry.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation and fluid systems and components.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
