Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Consultant to support sales and project teams with technical advice and consultancy. This role will involve participating in client meetings by leading on technical matters and collaborating with customer technology staff and/or suppliers.

The successful candidate will have excellent presentation and customer-facing skills and hands-on technical abilities across the Microsoft 365 solutions stack.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support sales and project teams with technical advice and consultancy
  • Participate in client meetings by leading on technical matters and collaborating with customer technology staff and/or suppliers
  • Hands-on technical configuration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 services
  • Evaluate on-premises and legacy infrastructure and prepare for migration to Microsoft 365 cloud
  • Undertake technical GAP analysis, document findings, assess and recommend solutions
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation including diagrams and technical baselines
  • Work within defined change management processes; raising change requests, defining detailed implementation and test plans and presenting changes at Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
  • Support project management in development of technical project plans

This role requires strong analytical and documentation skills, excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with customer-facing skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, personable and professional manner, process-oriented and humble.

Requirements
  • Key Qualifications:
  • English level C1 or above
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft 365 related certifications
  • Microsoft 365 technical skills across Azure Identity Services, Intune, Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
  • Information Protection & Governance; Sensitivity Labels, DLP, ATP Defender (Desirable)
  • Cloud Application Security
  • PowerShell scripting skills
  • Application Packaging skills
  • On-premises and traditional infrastructure technologies including Virtualisation, VDI, storage, firewalls, AV + Threat Protection, Windows Server, DNS/DHCP, backup solutions
  • Migration experience and knowledge of migration tooling (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
