Job Title: Vehicle Infotainment and Telematics Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Infotainment and Telematics Systems Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, testing, and validating infotainment and telematics systems for vehicles. They will be responsible for defining features from user story level to detailed functional requirements, collaborating with different teams and stakeholders, and ensuring that all details are available for successful implementation by engineers.

  • Define features from user story level to detailed functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with different teams & stakeholders.
  • Evaluate advancements in infotainment, telematics, and domain controller hardware architecture.
  • Work with UI/UX design teams, hardware & software engineering teams to define market-leading solutions considering timing, cost, and risks.
  • Represent system requirements and proactively review their implementation during software sprints.
  • Track and coordinate the hardware team for timely delivery of hardware development milestones.
  • Benchmark competitor products and offerings from automotive and consumer product landscapes.
  • Aware of intellectual property (IP) in the area of infotainment and telematics systems and strive to grow the company's IP portfolio.
  • Define testing and validation requirements for infotainment and telematics systems.
  • Define and review test plans and test cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Systems Engineering:
  • Knowledge of infotainment systems, telematics systems, and vehicle instrument cluster systems.
  • Experience preparing requirements for infotainment, telematics, and cluster systems.
  • Functional knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, and 4G.
  • Experiential knowledge of display modules, modems, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi modules.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Automotive Engineering:
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronics architecture.
  • Good awareness of various vehicle domains, systems, and components, automotive development lifecycle, and embedded software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in systems development methodology, use case elicitation, requirements management, functions analysis and allocation, verification and validation.
  • Experience in change and configuration management.
