Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals across various time zones.
  • Maintain a high level of incident resolution through prompt monitoring and response to tickets within SLA timelines.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely, escalating unresolved problems to global IT teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure seamless support across different geographical regions.
  • Maintain detailed logs of shift activities, including handover reports for continuity and audit purposes.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications to meet business requirements.
  • Respond to user tickets related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments, providing timely resolutions to system issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system updates.
  • Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with IT teams to resolve complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure that all systems and applications are up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates.
  • Develop training programs to educate users on basic IT procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Desktop Support.
  • Proven expertise in Remote Desktop Support.
  • Demonstrated skills in Windows platform management.
