Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing supply chain planning solutions using Kinaxis RapidResponse.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning, with experience in implementing different Kinaxis RapidResponse modules. They will also possess a solid understanding of scripting, forms, and web services, including macros, embedded algorithms, and workflows.

In this role, you will work closely with business users, IT partners, and global business leaders to evaluate problem statements, analyze, and build solutions. You will conduct workshops to understand business process requirements and propose the best possible solutions.

Your responsibilities will include configuring systems, designing resources such as workbooks, alerts, metrics, dashboards, scorecards, forms, and scripts. You will also design and develop technical and functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement supply chain planning solutions using Kinaxis RapidResponse.
  • Configure systems, design resources, and develop technical and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with business users, IT partners, and global business leaders to evaluate problem statements, analyze, and build solutions.
  • Conduct workshops to understand business process requirements and propose the best possible solutions.
  • Develop and enhance existing workbooks as per business needs and perform associated regression testing.
  • Create/Draft functional specification, technical specification documents, testing scenarios associated with it.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of working knowledge in implementation of different Kinaxis RapidResponse modules.
  • Knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse scripting, forms, and web services, including macros, embedded algorithms, and workflows.
  • Foundational knowledge of RapidResponse Data Governance, Data model, and scenarios architecture.
  • Experience in integration of Kinaxis with other Source ERP systems, data warehouses, for inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Should be Kinaxis Author Level 3 or Solution Consultant Level 3 certified, Level 2 in Admin and at least 3 solution certifications in RapidResponse.
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end integrated supply chain planning processes in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MRP, Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning, etc.
  • Able to identify gaps in existing processes, design, and develop the solution, configure the system.
  • Build automation of processes in vendor collaboration, forecasting, demand & supply planning, etc.
  • Good problem-solving and analytic skillset with an ability to innovate.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiations skills.
