Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Lead to join our team. This role involves designing and overseeing the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including integration with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance. Additionally, they should have experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).

This is a contract role with a duration of 6 months, extendable based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Architecture: Design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions.
  • Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Innovation: Stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Data Strategy: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Governance: Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
Requirements
  • 9-12 years of experience in software development and leadership roles.
  • 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric (client implementation, not POC) projects.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
  • Experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
