Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day shift operations of housekeeping, recreation, health club, and laundry. They direct and work with employees to ensure property guestrooms, public space, and employee areas are clean and well-maintained.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communicate room status effectively to the Front Desk in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering department on guestroom maintenance needs.
  • Supervise the property's general cleaning schedule.
  • Manage lists of rooms to be cleaned immediately and prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
  • Conduct inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Oversee daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensure adherence to all housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assist in procuring guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.
  • Support and supervise an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public spaces.
  • Foster open communication among staff regarding areas requiring attention and follow up to ensure understanding.
  • Ensure all employees have necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, hotel administration, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related professional area, OR a degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
