Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security architecture and experience with Okta Identity Management.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with business requirements, ensuring security and compliance in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Define Cloud Security Framework:

  • Design and implement a cloud security framework that meets the organization's security and compliance standards.

Document Implementation of Security Controls:

  • Ensure all cloud security measures are well-documented, providing clear guidelines for transition to cloud-managed security operations.

Develop and Implement Security Policies and Procedures:

  • Create and enforce security policies that align with the organization's business goals and cloud security standards.

Conduct Security Assessments and Audits:

  • Perform periodic security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security regulations and best practices.

Team Collaboration and Decision Making:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to key decisions and driving the overall security strategy. Provide expert guidance to the team and lead the decision-making process.

Stay Updated on Security Trends:

  • Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies in cloud security to ensure that the security architecture remains cutting-edge.
Required Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

  • Okta Identity Management: Proficiency in Okta, which is used for identity management and Single Sign-On (SSO) in cloud applications, is a key requirement.
  • Cloud Security Principles: Deep understanding of securing cloud-based systems and the design of secure cloud architectures.
  • Security Architecture Design: Experience in developing and implementing security architectures to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM): Knowledge of IAM principles and practices to manage user identities and control access to cloud resources.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with security compliance standards like ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2, which helps ensure that cloud security practices are aligned with industry standards.
Additional Information:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Okta Identity Management and cloud security frameworks.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
