Job Summary:

A comprehensive job that requires meticulous analysis, assessment, and evaluation of security issues. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities in cloud technologies, documenting findings, and collaborating with teams to implement fixes.

Responsibilities:

  • Security Analysis: Analyze, assess, and evaluate incoming security reports from various sources to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
  • Cloud Security Management: Manage and monitor tools related to cloud technologies to ensure the organization's data is secure.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify security fixes and solutions implemented by teams to ensure effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Create vulnerability risk overview reporting for each release cycle to inform stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes and automate tasks where feasible.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/knowledge.
  • Initiative and Self-Direction: High level of initiative and self-direction to work independently.
  • Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) and web-based testing frameworks.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid analytical skills to reproduce and pinpoint issues, and validate fix implementations in various stacks and technologies.
  • Vulnerability Calculation: Solid understanding of vulnerability calculation methods like CVSS.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to convey information effectively at multiple levels of sensitivity and for various audiences.
  • Teamwork: Teamwork abilities, willingness to help and assist colleagues.
  • Certifications: An independent and active security certification is a plus but not required, for example, Certified Security Analyst (ECSA), Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Certified Web Expert (OSWE), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN).
