Procurement Manager Job

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement manager to oversee the procurement process and drive cost savings.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate supplier capabilities to ensure they meet engineering specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
    • Review and approve technical documentation, material certifications, and compliance reports.
    • Conduct market research to identify innovative solutions and cost-effective alternatives.
  • Cost Control and Budget Management:
    • Monitor procurement budgets and develop strategies to minimize costs without compromising quality.
    • Analyze data to identify areas for cost reduction and implement initiatives to achieve goals.
    • Forecast pricing trends and market fluctuations to mitigate financial risks.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:
    • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Optimize supply chain processes to minimize delays and disruptions.
    • Oversee international and domestic shipping, customs regulations, and import/export requirements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
    • Conduct risk assessments related to procurement, including supplier financial stability and geopolitical risks.
    • Manage contract disputes, warranties, and claims in collaboration with legal teams.
  • Technology and Reporting:
    • Utilize procurement software and ERP systems to streamline purchasing workflows.
    • Generate reports on procurement performance, supplier KPIs, and cost savings.
    • Implement digital tools to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency.
