Bar Tender Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bar Tender to join our team in Puducherry, India. As a Bar Tender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, making recommendations, and answering customers' questions.
  • Age Verification: Check identification and verify the age of customers to ensure legal drinking age.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish bar inventory, including ordering supplies.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Bar Tender.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Knowledge of a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Math Skills: Basic math and cash handling skills.
  • Health and Safety: Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
