We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to program and configure control systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of automation devices and providing technical support for field installations and startups.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have expertise in PLC programming, operator interface design, and variable frequency drive configuration. They will also possess a strong understanding of how automation devices operate and interact in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming and Configuration: Develop and implement control system programs using PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical assistance for field installations, startups, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Field Service: Offer hands-on support for assigned projects, including equipment training and installation documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field.
  • Proficient in PLC and HMI programming, with experience in Allen Bradley systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, VBA, SQL databases, and reporting tools.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to travel frequently.
