Job Summary:

  • A robotics specialist creates and maintains complex systems of interconnected mechanical, electrical, and software components to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • They apply various engineering principles to design robots that automate processes in manufacturing, healthcare, defense, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test robotic systems, components, and prototypes using advanced materials and technologies.
  • Design and implement control systems, sensors, and automation software to optimize system performance.
  • Maintain and improve existing robotic applications by troubleshooting and implementing new solutions.
  • Conduct research to integrate emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things into robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals to facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements to minimize risk and liability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C++, Python, MATLAB, ROS) to develop and maintain robotic systems.
  • Knowledge of control systems, sensors, and embedded systems to design and implement complex robotic applications.
  • Experience with CAD software and mechanical design to create detailed models and simulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with AI, computer vision, and machine learning is highly valued but not required.
