As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in empowering children and young adults with disabilities to reach their full potential.

About the Role:

This position involves working closely with families in their homes to deliver tailored therapy sessions that promote motor, sensory, and daily living skills.

You will be responsible for conducting one-on-one occupational therapy sessions at the client's home, assessing the child's functional needs, and developing personalized therapy goals.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conducting individualized occupational therapy sessions to address the unique needs of each client
  • Assessing clients' functional abilities and identifying areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress and collaborating with other professionals involved in their care
  • Communicating effectively with families and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy (AIOTA certification required)
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with disabilities (preferably)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently in home environments with minimal supervision
