Lead a Team of Analysts

Our organization seeks an experienced and proactive Team Leader to oversee a team of analysts supporting commercial lending operations.

This role demands strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of CRE lending, and proven ability to drive collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of analysts processing loan applications, credit documentation, and portfolio management.
  • Ensure delivery in line with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) with a high accuracy rate.
  • Track, review, and report team performance; provide regular feedback and coaching.
Operational Excellence:
  • Enforce adherence to lending policies, standards, and criteria.
  • Review and approve credit papers/documentation prior to submission.
  • Support the use of front-end systems to monitor loan applications through approval.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations, provide operational updates, and lead process alignment discussions.
  • Facilitate transparent communication between teams.
Compliance & Risk:
  • Oversee collaboration with KYC and Financial Crime teams for onboarding/fraud cases.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and client-specific policies.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
  • Identify and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, dashboards, and insights.
Training & Development:
  • Conduct training on CRE lending practices, compliance, and systems.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Candidate Profile:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or financial services.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and working with clients.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of CRE lending, credit documentation, and compliance.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient in banking systems, reporting, and MS Office tools.
