We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Machine Support Specialist. This role will be based in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, as part of the regional support team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a full-time diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Plastics, or Mechatronics and will be responsible for providing comprehensive end-to-end support to customers, from machine installation to troubleshooting and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide in-depth support to customers, including machine installation, addressing breakdown calls, troubleshooting machine problems, and offering spare parts assistance.
  • Preventive and Corrective Actions: Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for machine issues and ensure these actions are applied globally to all machines. You'll be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex machine problems.
  • On-site Services: Handle the installation and servicing of all machines in the assigned region. This includes conducting mold trials, assembling machines, and ensuring machines are operational at customer sites.
  • Training and Reporting: Provide comprehensive training to customers on machine operations and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting detailed service reports for each machine.
  • Part and Data Management: Submit field-returned parts to the factory for analysis and warranty cost recovery. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, including software backups, hydraulic circuits, and Bills of Material on the service portal.
  • Business Development: Generate spare parts business and develop tailored spare parts recommendations for customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: A full-time diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Plastics, or Mechatronics.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in providing end-to-end support for machine installation and troubleshooting.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions for machine problems.
  • Customer-Facing: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide support and instruction to customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate and organized records, including service reports, software backups, and Bills of Material.
