Incident Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Incident Management Specialist.

  • This role involves analyzing and facilitating immediate response to incidents for groups of end users, advising on moderately complex to complex incidents, and engaging with IT groups and Business partners to drive and solve for service restoration as soon as possible.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in incident management, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate leadership presence and authority to prioritize, track, and drive execution in stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure components and interrelationships associated with WAN, network access, authentication, email, and collaboration products/SaaS solutions is also essential.
  • This position requires strong communication skills to communicate incident status to various levels of the organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and facilitate immediate response to incidents for groups of end users.
  • Advises/consults on moderately complex to complex incidents.
  • Engage with IT groups and Business partners to drive and solve for service restoration as soon as possible.
  • Document incident details per exit criteria to Problem Management.
  • Communicate incident status to various levels of the organization.
  • Provide direction and coaching to technical support employees involved in the incident.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leads matrixed groups.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in incident management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and effective communication with all audience levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence, authority, and responsibility to prioritize, track, and drive execution in stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure components and interrelationships associated with WAN, network access, authentication, email, and collaboration products/SaaS solutions.
