Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Global Business Tax Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing positive working relationships with teams and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all tax advisory engagements to ensure seamless delivery
  • Supervising the delivery of tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters
  • Responsibility for tax compliance including filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax, and other tax filings
  • Supervising tax assessment and litigation proceedings before the assessing officer, other income tax authorities, and higher appellate forums
  • Training managers and other executives for their professional development and creating a stronger bench
  • Delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services
  • End-to-end tax operate engagements as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
  • Internal client codes management from time logging, invoicing, and collections perspectives
  • Business development, identifying new opportunities actively, and mining existing ones
  • Contributing to firm eminence programs, events, written or speaking contributions at conferences
  • Thought leadership and tax technical papers for firm-wide go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborating with other tax services lines and business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements
  • Focusing and aligning to firm's core tax growth themes

Requirements:

CA - 8-10 years' experience in Direct Taxation, preferably from Big 4 with strong technical knowledge, analytical skills & conceptual clarity, innovative thinking & eye for market trends, effective communication and presentation skills, time and cost management skills, managing and leading a team, mentorship for professionals

This profile involves frequent traveling to client locations. Hybrid work arrangements are available as our default way of working.
