Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to play a crucial role in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments.

Your primary objective will be to reduce tax-related risks and costs while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws. You will work closely with finance and HR departments to ensure precise calculation and reporting of payroll taxes and social security contributions.

  • Prepare, review, and file tax returns and related deliverables for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines.
  • Offer specialized advice and strategic recommendations to internal teams regarding tax planning, withholding responsibilities, and social security contributions.
  • Analyze employee compensation and payroll data to accurately calculate tax liabilities and identify potential benefits.
  • Prepare supporting applications and documentation to optimize employees' tax positions.
  • Maintain detailed tax records and documentation for accuracy and audit-readiness.

You will also be responsible for staying informed on the latest developments in international tax laws and regulations, compiling and presenting tax reports to management, auditors, and tax authorities, and identifying cross-functional issues and collaborating with Tax SMEs for integrated solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess sound technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, analytical thinking ability, and experience working closely with foreign offices and clients. A US CPA or Enrolled Agent is mandatory, and experience in team management and quality control is highly desirable.
