Job Description:

As an Okta administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, management, and support of the Okta platform. This includes users, groups, roles, and policies. You will also be tasked with implementing and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for cloud and on-premise applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SSO protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and provisioning protocols like SCIM. They will also be familiar with integrating Okta with various SaaS applications and custom applications.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. They will also have a strong understanding of security standards and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience administering Okta or other IAM solutions
  • Strong knowledge of identity management, authentication, and authorization concepts
  • Experience with SSO protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
  • Familiarity with provisioning protocols such as SCIM
  • Experience integrating Okta with cloud platforms and enterprise applications
  • Understanding of security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
