Financial Officer Job Description

The Financial Officer will be responsible for a variety of tasks including vendor bill processing, bank entries and reconciliation, credit card entries and reconciliation, payroll processing and payroll entries, preparation of customer invoices and mailing, accounts receivable and revenue reconciliation, updating document checklist, document library and client reports, sales tax calculation and filing, payroll reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, depreciation and month-end adjustments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Bill Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor bills.
  • Bank Entries and Reconciliation: Make accurate bank entries and reconcile bank statements.
  • Credit Card Entries and Reconciliation: Process credit card entries and reconcile credit card statements.
  • Payroll Processing and Payroll Entries: Process payroll accurately and make necessary payroll entries.
  • Preparation of Customer Invoices and Mailing: Prepare and mail customer invoices in a timely manner.
  • Accounts Receivable and Revenue Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable and revenue to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Updating Document Checklist, Document Library and Client Reports: Maintain up-to-date documentation and client reports.
  • Sales Tax Calculation and Filing: Calculate and file sales tax accurately.
  • Payroll Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Accruals, Prepayments, Deferred Revenue, Depreciation and Month-End Adjustments: Accurately record and adjust accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, depreciation, and month-end adjustments.
  • Internal Communication for Routine Queries and Questions: Provide clear and concise internal communication for routine queries and questions.
  • Review and Preparation of Financial Statements: Review and prepare financial statements accurately.

Knowledge of KPO is mandatory.
