Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the electronics design team, you will be responsible for assisting the project leader in requirements management, electronics circuit design, analysis, implementation & testing of aerospace electronics products and printed circuit cards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics hardware involving digital, microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power, and EMI circuits. Experience with electrical design and high-speed digital or mixed signal design is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have practical experience in analyzing and troubleshooting electronics circuits, and be able to simplify circuits and explain underlying concepts clearly.

The selected candidate will provide technical guidance, leadership at project context, and self-motivated with focus on results, sense of urgency, and working boundary less. Good written and verbal presentation and communication skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Power Electronics with 7-8 years of experience in electrical design, preferably with high-speed digital or mixed signal design.
  • Have good understanding of electronics hardware involving digital, microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power, and EMI circuits.
  • Must have experience with electrical design and high-speed digital or mixed signal design.
  • Have practical experience in analyzing and troubleshooting electronics circuits.
  • Be able to simplify circuits and explain underlying concepts clearly.
  • Provide technical guidance, leadership at project context, and self-motivated with focus on results, sense of urgency, and working boundary less.
  • Good written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
  • Design experience for complying EMI/EMC in power electronics applications and exposure to RF Conducted and Radiated Emissions/Susceptibility Testing.
  • Good understanding of grounding and shielding techniques.
  • Chassis design for good EMC is an added advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of board design, EMI Filter design, lightning analysis, and component selection.
  • Mentor schematic and layout tools – Dx Designer, Hyper lynx DRC, Hyper lynx SI.
