Job Title:

Right of Way Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Right of Way Acquisition Specialist to lead and manage all aspects of land acquisition for our transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify and acquire land for transmission lines through direct engagement with landowners, local bodies, and government agencies.
  • To assess crop and land compensation and negotiate agreements with effective land/tower owners.
  • To resolve disputes and grievances related to land acquisition and compensation.
  • To maintain accurate documentation of RoW agreements, compensation records, and legal approvals.
  • To coordinate with EPC contractors and internal teams for technical and legal documentation required for clearances.

Requirements & Qualifications:

A graduate in Law / Land Management or equivalent is desired. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in RoW acquisition and liaisoning, preferably in the power transmission sector, is required.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, ability to build relationships with local communities, panchayats, and government officials, and represent the organization in public hearings, stakeholder meetings, and regulatory forums.
