Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day calls/queries relating to billing processes.
  • Report on activities and progress to seniors on a daily basis.
  • Resolve inquiries/queries related to Billing, adhering to policy guidelines for billing.
  • Follow up with field location teams for necessary supporting documents required for billing, manage and recover outstanding payments from customers.
  • Contact debtors, negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Investigate and address customer concerns related to billing, payments or account discrepancies.
  • Download bank statements for all accounts, provide bank statements, remittances and correspondences received to collectors on the same day.
  • Perform regular standard tasks of Customer Invoicing Processing function, ensure cash is applied based on defined process without exceptions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Billing/Invoicing, Contract Management, Pricing/Signing Backlog, Account Management.
  • End to End Knowledge in AR, good knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Billing & Invoicing, Cash Application, Customer Reconciliation.
  • Good analytical and communication skills, high energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountability, oral and written communications skills in English, capability to work under time pressure in a dynamic business environment.

Education / Qualifications:

  • Graduates and/or postgraduates with 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
