Job Title: Senior Aviation Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced aviation engineering manager to lead the delivery of complex design and maintenance projects for airports in India and the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design process for airfield civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables meet client requirements.
  • Oversee project delivery, providing leadership and direction to junior team members, and manage multiple technical engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications related to airfield engineering projects.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to quality management standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, industry associates, and clients to coordinate designs and address queries.
  • Identify and manage design risks, issues, and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Support project managers by monitoring project progress and contributing to the development of project controls.
  • Implement technical quality requirements and meet deadlines while maintaining excellent health and safety practices in design.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Experience working on large, technically complex airport projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
  • Proven ability to manage engineering professionals in delivering technical aviation projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-leadership, attention to detail, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet business objectives in India and the UK.
  • Experience with international airfield design standards such as ICAO and FAA.
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AviPlan, SkySafe, and FAARFIELD.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
