Job Title: Insurance Product Owner

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Product Owner to join our team. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering insurance products that meet the needs of our customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance products and processes, as well as experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and articulating a clear product vision, owning and prioritizing the product backlog, and collaborating with engineering teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies.

You will also be responsible for advocating for the end-user by validating solutions against business needs and ensuring a user-friendly experience.

Additionally, you will establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and its features.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in the IT field, with at least 3+ years as Technology Product Owner.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Technology Product Owner in developing tech platforms for underwriting and policy lifecycle processes or Insurtech.
  • Demonstrate ability to combine deep business and product knowledge with technical know-how.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering user-centered products.
