Energy Performance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Energy Performance Specialist to lead our global projects, focusing on Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) and detailed energy analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and 4-8 years of experience as an Energy Analyst in the buildings sector.

  • The primary responsibility for this role is to oversee EPC global projects, ensuring operational parameters are within budget from our India office.
  • You will work closely with JCI global branches to develop effective solutions for energy conservation and efficiency.

To excel in this position, you must have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (BE/ME/M. Tech)
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience as an Energy Analyst in the buildings sector
  • Excellent understanding of building operations and HVAC systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of Measurement & Verification (M&V) techniques
  • Familiarity with green building certification programs (LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, WELL)
  • Solar PV system design expertise
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP, WELL AP, IGBC AP
