Regional Sales Team Service Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the servicing of orders for regional sales teams within defined customer service frameworks to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Validate demand over time, prioritize orders/customers based on assigned parameters, and validate demand with available POs, LCs, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, manufacturing license checks, minimum shelf-life requirements, pre-shipment documents, and timelines.
  • Analyze order status in our systems, gather information on scheduling, material receipt and dispatch schedules, and highlight potential issues affecting defined timelines.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region, driving documentation related to shipments with CFT teams.
  • Drive shipment planning with logistics teams, mitigating risks and delays proactively to avoid demurrage or penalties.
  • Attend meetings to obtain data and updates on open orders, identify issues (e.g., artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity), and arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Provide detailed analysis on outstanding orders to be discussed in meetings.

Supply Chain Technology and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities for implementing IT & Automation in Order Management processes, improving Supply Chain visibility.
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for all IT & Technology Automations within SCM jointly with IT.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and Reporting (VBA Macros, Power BI).
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain essentials, preferably in Pharma.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • SAP Knowledge essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Decision-making, ability to prioritize dynamically.
  • Negotiation skills/Conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and work around constraints.
  • Plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
