About This Opportunity

This leadership role is designed for strategic visionaries who can propel a startup incubation program forward. As the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with not-for-profit objectives.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Develop and execute a strategic plan for the incubation center, ensuring alignment with government policies, startup ecosystem goals, and institutional/academic objectives.
  • Incubation Program Development & Management: Design and manage incubation, acceleration, and pre-incubation programs, build a pipeline of high-potential startups and entrepreneurs, provide mentoring, capacity-building workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Financial Sustainability & Fundraising: Mobilize resources through CSR partnerships, government grants, international agencies, and institutional support, develop revenue streams while adhering to relevant restrictions.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem Development: Forge collaborations with corporate, investors (VCs/angels), academic institutions, and government bodies, establish MoUs with ecosystem enablers (accelerators, incubators, R&D labs).
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure statutory compliance under relevant laws and regulations, regular reporting to the Board of Directors/Advisory Council, maintain transparency and governance best practices.
  • Monitoring & Impact Assessment: Track performance metrics of incubated startups, publish annual reports highlighting impact in terms of employment, innovation, and social contribution, drive outcome-based evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Branding, Outreach & Advocacy: Position the incubation company as a leading ecosystem enabler, promote incubated startups through media, events, and demo days.
  • Innovation & Technology Enablement: Establish labs, prototyping facilities, co-working infrastructure, encourage adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Long-Term Sustainability & Legacy Creation: Build a model that continues beyond grants, ensuring resilience and continuity, develop alumni networks of successful startups to contribute back to the ecosystem.
