About the role:

Gartner is looking for a well-rounded PMO Operations Program manager who can consistently support technology strategy and operations to fuel IT projects and programs that enable Gartner. The candidate will be responsible for leading and driving technology initiatives, consistent processes and reporting across all Research, Analytics and consulting technology division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Technology leadership to drive defined business strategies, processes and achieve targets
  • Partner with functional, Infra, cloud and other operations teams within and outside of BU to drive initiatives.
  • Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, processes, tools, and templates, that help secure desired outcomes
  • Work with project teams to report end-to-end trends and insights on IT performance. Support consistency and alignment of technology metrics and reporting.
  • Apply data visualization techniques to communicate data via graphical representation by building a narrative around a set of data to convey actionable findings from the analysis.
  • Report progress to management and oversee publication of monthly management reports and updates
  • Drive consistency of execution across all teams. Identify areas/opportunities for collaboration within and across functions/business units. Brokers consensus among stakeholders with conflicting priorities.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years progressive technology experience, preferably in a strategy, operations, including 4+ years being responsible for strategic operations and executive reporting. Knowledge of IT business systems and engineering SDLC cycles strongly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts and analyses in an accessible and compelling way.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for decision-making and leverage data to improve operations
  • Ability to use standard business applications (G-suite,, Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Project, Jira, PowerBI) to obtain/process data and develop reports
  • Experience in project risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in a fast-paced environment and to inspire rapid adoption of change in a complex matrixed organization with distributed virtual teams.

About You:

  • Graduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
  • Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
  • Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies
