About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join our team, who will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests in core technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be part of our high-performing team that empowers non-technical founders to build, fund, and scale revenue-focused tech companies. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting product development, from initial strategy through technical R&D, and ensuring the delivery of beautifully crafted, technically excellent products that users love to use.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 6 years of previous commercial experience with manual and automation testing, as well as strong knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language. You should also possess excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people, with the ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated tests in core technologies using Cypress.io and/or Playwright
  • Create test documentation and define test scope for the tested area, identifying potential risks
  • Define and improve QA processes, providing support to other team members
  • Lead and input into technical discussions, mentoring junior testers where necessary
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of previous commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • Strong knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
  • Experience working with large datasets or customer bases (a plus)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, Monitoring services, Test design, and programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS (a plus)
