Job Overview

The Accounts Payable Manager position is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily AP operations, including invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Supervise and support AP staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Analyze and improve AP processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors to resolve discrepancies and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Support audits, month-end, and year-end closing activities by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Prepare and review AP reports to inform business decisions and drive strategic planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or accounting, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
