Global Logistics Manager Position

This role involves overseeing the implementation of a Supply Chain Management strategy across geographical areas. The individual will be responsible for delivering results according to predefined financial and operational targets set by global customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical Export Shipment Management: Coordinating end-to-end ocean FCL and Air freight transportation services.
  • Full Lifecycle Export Shipment Management: Handling container planning, booking, trailer placement, stuffing plans, export documentation, RFID sealing, customs clearance, and container inward at ports without delays.
  • Documentation Compliance and Timeliness: Ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely shipping documentation with CHA/Shipping lines to guarantee 100% accuracy in export shipments.
  • Milestone Monitoring: Proactively addressing delays or issues related to shipment milestones.
  • Freight Forwarder and Carrier Collaboration: Liaising with internal stakeholders for optimal routing and cost efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Collaborating with team members, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal departments to align on shipping timelines and documentation requirements.
  • Reporting and MIS Submission: Preparing and submitting required reports to stakeholders as per a fixed schedule without errors.
  • Team Support and Process Improvement: Training and supporting junior team members as needed, identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience from operational roles in the logistics industry, with a deep understanding of international supply chains.
