Job Summary

This role oversees end-to-end logistics operations, coordinating with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams to ensure seamless execution. Key responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound freights, handling day-to-day logistics tasks, and overseeing accurate documentation preparation and verification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage import/export operations, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
  • Maintain proper documentation, track goods, identify opportunities to reduce taxes and duties, and optimize logistics for efficient deliveries while mitigating risks in global trade.
  • Monitor and manage customs duties and tariff exposures, implement duty mitigation strategies, and identify and manage risks associated with international trade.
  • Coordinate with Customs House Agents and shipping lines, handle import documentation, and ensure timely clearance and compliance with DGFT and customs regulations.
  • Manage booking, tracking, and cost negotiations, work with banks on Letters of Credit (LC), bank guarantees, and payment terms, and ensure financial compliance in international transactions.
  • Ensure full compliance with trade regulations, customs protocols, and global shipping laws, monitor shipments closely to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform Power BI analysis, Reporting, and have SAP Knowledge and MIS expertise.
